This transformer is perfect for matching 4 or 8 ohm speakers to older radios like the Hallicrafters SX-42 that have only 500 ohm outputs. This is a quality transformer.

Is a drop-in for my 1940s broadcast speaker that was missing the xformer. Need the 600 ohms to match the output from my 1968 Hallicrafters SX-43 receiver Matched the existing brackets on the speaker perfectly..
