I purchased this cord to complement an existing, original cord on my 1926 Gilfillan radio. When it arrived, I was amazed at how closely the exterior appearance matched the existing cord. I was even more surprised to discover that the internal construction of the cord is also a close replica of cords made in the 1920's. The internal conductors are separately wrapped in fabric, and the individual copper strands of each wire are flat copper ribbons, not round wires. Even the individual copper strands are intertwined with threads. All-in-all this cord exhibits very good quality, and excellent attention to detail as a replica of 1920's cordage.
