RADIO DAZE VACUUM TUBE PART NUMBERS
Our vacuum tube tables use the generic tube type part numbers. Please use the following Radio Daze part numbering convention when inquiring about or ordering tubes:

NOS part #:    T-xxxx-NOS    where xxxx is the generic #
USED part #:  T-xxxx-USED  where xxxx is the generic #
NOS example:  a 6BF7 would be T-6BF7-NOS
USED example: a 26HU5 would be T-26HU5-USED

PRICING
Premium Tubes with * (Asterisk):  Tube types followed by an asterisk indicate a potential premium tube, i.e. either a rare tube or one of which special selections are often requested. Pricing on these tubes may vary based upon selection and market conditions.

New Old Stock Tubes:  The prices listed in our catalog and on this web site for non-premium tubes are our current prices for new old stock (NOS) tubes.

Used Tubes:  Our used tubes can be typically purchased for one half (50%) of the NOS pricing (rounded UP to the nearest $0.01 when necessary) in our catalog and on this web site.  Rarer used tubes such as globe/balloon style or audio tubes may be at a premium price greater than 50% of the NOS tubes.

Brand Selections:  Selections of a specific tube brand of a non-premium tube, if available, is $1.00 extra per tube.  You can designate a preference for a specific brand by entering the following part number on the line after your tube order:

T-BRAND-(insert brand name here)
Example:  T-BRAND-Philco

Sort Selections:  If a specific construction, date code, manufacturer marking, etc. is desired, please contact us for a quote.

Matching:  We will match tubes where adequate supply exists for an additional $2.00 per tube.  Power output tubes are match by both transconductance and plate current within 5% at a fixed operating point.  Other tubes are matched within 5% transconductance at a fixed operating point.

Requests for matched tubes are entered on the order form as part number:

T-MATCH-(insert tube type here)
Example:  T-MATCH-6146W 

QUALITY
Every NOS and USED tube we sell is tested just prior to shipment to meet or exceed industry standard requirements before it is shipped.  We do not test for microphonics. We mark each tube we sell with a unique stamp, invisible to the naked eye, which allows us to confirm that our tubes have passed our testing process and also to qualify any tubes that may be returned by our customers.

WARRANTY
Each NOS Radio Daze vacuum tube is guaranteed for a period of 90 days from our invoice date.  Each USED Radio Daze tube is guaranteed for 30 days from our invoice date.
 
Not covered by our warranty are tubes that are broken or damaged after our shipment, tubes that are microphonic or tubes used in applications that exceed the manufacturer's specified ratings, such as sweep tubes in power amplifiers, etc.

You must contact us before returning any tube as a warranty claim.  The tubes must be in the unmodified tube box we originally shipped them in.  That means no additional markings on the tube boxes.

Tubes outside of their warranty period will not be taken back under any circumstance.

CHECKING YOUR TUBE PURCHASE
Please check your tube purchase upon receipt.  We need to be notified at once if there is a mechanical defect and within the warranty period if the tube electrically fails.  Please obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number and return the tube for evaluation by our technical staff.  The "defective" tube must be returned in the same tube box that it was shipped in along with a letter explaining the tube's problem.   After evaluation, we will contact you regarding credit or replacement.
