FOR VACUUM TUBE RECTIFIERS

• Plug and functionally compatible replacements for popular vacuum tube rectifiers.
• Emulates the tube rectifier forward resistance curve so that DC output voltages remain similar.
• Simulates the warm up of tube rectifiers with a linear in-rush current limiter - although this is typically 1-2 seconds vs. 7-9 seconds for a tube, this feature prevents large current surges and eliminates concerns over "cathode-stripping" and the need for installation of a high voltage (B+) standby switch associated with simple semiconductor diode substitutions.
• Eliminates tube rectifier filament power consumption allowing power transformers to run cooler (filament power may remain connected to socket - not used by SSR)
• Our SSR's do get hot in operation - use care just like you would with a vacuum tube.
• May be slightly heavier than tube being replaced - so make sure they are secured/tensioned properly in applications where the unit is installed upside down.
• SSR's are shiny black powder coat - look great in any application - and are typically 3 inches high.
• When used as specified, will last the lifetime of the equipment in which it is installed.
