ORDERING INFORMATION

                    

SHIPPING CHARGES - USA
Radio Daze charges only actual shipping costs and does not impose additional handling charges. With our present inventory system, we have no way of knowing what your actual shipping costs will be until we have pulled, packed and weighed your orders.  We ship nearly all of our domestic orders via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail which seems to provide our customers with the most cost and time effective method of shipping our product.  We do not ship them via Parcel Post.

NOTE:  U.S. Postal Service regulations prohibit us from shipping certain items by U.S. Mail.  If your order includes one or more of these items, we will most likely ship the entire order via UPS Ground.  These items are displayed on our web site with an asterisk ( * )after the Radio Daze part number.

We do not ship items via other shipping companies such as FedEx, DHL, Airborne, etc..  We just aren't set up to deal with using those services.

SHIPPING CHARGES - OTHER COUNTRIES
Radio Daze regularly ships orders to other countries via First Class International Mail (similar to Airmail Letter Post) or Priority Mail International (similar to Airmail Parcel Post) provided they do not include items of an aerosol or flammable nature that are indicated with an asterisk (*) after the Radio Daze part number..  Please email us (
info@radiodaze.com) a list of the parts that you would like to order so we can determine the size and weight of your order and provide you with estimated shipping costs. 

It is the customer's responsibility to request insurance on their shipment.  The customer becomes liable for the package once it has been delivered to the shipping service. First Class International Mail cannot be insured. Please note that shipments to some countries cannot be insured because that service may not be offered.  When insurance is available, it is our understanding that it may also permit the postal authorities to locate "missing" shipments and and provide the customer with protection in the event that the order is lost or damaged.  Please note that insuring the shipment
will not permit Radio Daze or the customer to track their order on-line.  Only the postal authorities can track the insured shipment.

Please note that we can NOT ship flammable or aerosol items to countries outside of the USA.  Those items are usually denoted by an asterisk (*)with a YELLOW background after the Radio Daze part number.


ESTIMATED SHIPPING TIMES TO OTHER COUNTRIES
Radio Daze regularly ships to other countries.  It has been our experience that the typical 4 to 11 day delivery times often mentioned on the US Postal web site are overly optimistic since they cannot control the length of time that it takes for a package to travel once it leaves the USA.  


 
TRACKING OF SHIPMENTS
Radio Daze regularly ships orders within the USA via US Priority Mail Service.  Orders shipped to other countries are usually shipped via First Class International Mail or Priority Mail International or by Global Priority Mail Service.  None of those shipping services provide a method of tracking a customer's order once it has left our facility unless it is insured.   See the previous paragraph for details.

SHIPPING INSURANCE
Radio Daze normally does not insure the packages that we ship to locations within the USA. We do recommend that all orders shipped outside of the USA be insured when it is available.  If you desire insurance on your order, please request it. The cost of the insurance will be added to your order. 
The customer becomes liable for the package once it has been delivered to the shipping service.  

Please note that insuring a shipment to another country does NOT provide Radio Daze or the customer with a means of tracking an order. However it might provide the postal authorities with a method of locating missing shipments and insures the contents against loss or damage.

Insuring a shipment within the USA does not provide any means of tracking it once it has left our facility.  If you need tracking within the USA, please request UPS Ground..


PAYMENT - USA
All payments must be made in US dollars. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American-Express credit cards. We also accept money orders or checks. 

We can ship items C.O.D. via UPS Ground if needed.  Please note that UPS charges a fee of $7.50 on top of their regular shipping charge for COD deliveries.  It has been our experience that UPS Ground shipments will cost more and take longer to arrive than Priority Mail shipments.  Money orders typically cost less than a dollar at your post office, bank or even WalMart so it may pay to send us a money order instead of wasting money on COD delivery..

Sorry, we do not accept PayPal.

PAYMENT - OTHER COUNTRIES
All payments must be made in US dollars. We only accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American-Express credit cards for all orders shipped outside of the USA. We CANNOT accept money orders or personal checks for orders shipped outside the USA.

CREDIT CARD VERIFICATION NUMBERS
If you wish to pay by credit card, you must also include your CREDIT CARD VERIFICATION number.  On VISA, MasterCard and Discover credit cards, this is printed on the signature strip as a 3 digit number usually preceded by the last 4 digits of your primary card number. On American-Express cards this is printed as a 4 digit number on the front of your card.

NEW YORK STATE ADDRESSES
We must charge New York State sales tax on all orders shipped or billed to New York addresses unless you send us a tax resale certificate before the order is shipped.

PLACING AN ORDER
$10 Minimum Parts Order Required (not including shipping, sales tax or COD costs). The $10.00 minimum parts order requirement applies to ALL orders.

Radio Daze will calculate your shipping costs once we have pulled your order.
We do our best to only charge you our actual shipping costs. If you wish to pay by check, please contact us in advance by email with your needs and address so we can determine what your shipping costs will be.

RETURNS
Radio Daze must be contacted and approval given before any purchased items are returned for any reason.

CD-ROMs,  books and other printed publications may only be exchanged for the same item if they are defective.  All sales of CD/DVD-ROMs, books and other printed publications are final unless Radio Daze determines that they mistakenly shipped you the wrong item.

If Radio Daze determines that the return is not due to a mistake made by Radio Daze, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee may be applied.   


ORDER CONFIRMATION
If you submit your order via our on-line order form, email, regular mail or FAX, we will do our best to email an order confirmation to you (if you have Internet access) within one business day that we are open. This is a manual process and is dependent on your providing us with an accurate and easily read email address. Unfortunately our on-line order form's construction does not allow us to do a simple reply to obtain your email address. We must copy and paste the email address you enter on the form so please give us an accurate email address.

When you have filled out the order form and clicked on the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the form, a "Form Confirmation page" will appear which shows the information you entered on it.  At this point, the form has already been sent to Radio Daze and there is nothing that needs to be done. If you spot a mistake, please CONTACT us with the correction.

We are actively working to complete a user-friendly, online purchasing experience with shopping cart. We hope to go live with this new web site later this year.

1. Print out the following blank order form which you can then either mail to us or fax to us via our toll-free FAX order line (800)-456-6494.

Remember that we will not process an order for less than $10 worth of parts.
Shipping costs do not count toward the $10 minimum.

2. Go to the secure on-line order form, fill it out and then submit your order to us by clicking on the SUBMIT button once it has been completed.  Try to avoid hitting the ENTER key on your keyboard since that causes the form to be sent prematurely.  If this happens, resume filling out of the order form and submit it to us.  

Our online order form is limited to about 17 items.  Customers regularly submit multiple orders if they wish to order more than 17 items.  We spot them when they arrive on our server and combine them into one common order.  As long as you don't space them over a wide period of time, it is easy to combine them.  You can also enter a comment about this being page 1 of 2 or something like that in place of the first or last line item description field on each form.
