knob (larger shaft hole than 1942. Marblized brown plastic just like the original. Both the 1941 & 1942 Philco radios used potentiometers with 0.25" diameter shafts. They differed in the amount of material that was milled away to provide a flat spot on the end of the shaft. The 1941 shaft measured about .225" thick at the flat spot. (we suggest the complete set of 4 are replaced at the same time) |
