Radio Daze offers quality refinishing services on all styles of wooden cabinets for your radio, amp, jukebox or other vintage audio gear. Repairs are performed by an highly-trained technician many years experience in the restoration of wooden cabinetry.
Your wooden cabinet is somewhere in the range of thirty to seventy-five years old. Exact, original replacement parts are rare or simply no longer available in many cases. Although strictly authentic repair and restoration can be accomplished, it typically involved an expense level of interest to only the most dedicated antique radio collector or person interested in refurbishing that family heirloom.
Radio Daze typically provides “practical” repair services. We will maintain the original appearance of the cabinet.
The first step in the refinishing process is the development of a written refinishing estimate in the Radio Daze refinishing department. Radio Daze will examine the condition and estimate the recommended repair cost of any cabinet for FREE. If Radio Daze is authorized to proceed with the repair while the cabinet is still in the department for the estimate, the estimate charge remains free, should it be taken after estimate and brought back there will be a estimate charge of $40.00.
All Radio Daze repair estimates are strictly considered not-to-exceed estimates. You must approve in advance any unforeseen costs (additional parts/products) that might arise.
Warranty
Radio Daze warrants the labor and of a recommended refinishing service for a period of one year after the cabinet is returned to you. If your cabinet develops a problem during the warranty period, Radio Daze will repair the cabinet at no charge other then for required parts that were not included in the original repair.
Radio Daze will provide free pick-up and return delivery of your cabinet, at our schedule convenience, within a twenty-five mile radius of Mendon, New York. Outside of this area transportation is the responsibility of the customer. If this is a problem for you, let us know and we will work with you, maybe a potential of a small additional charge ($30.00).
Payment for refinishing services will require a 25% deposit and the remaining balance is due in full service completion and presentation of invoice.
